The durability of single components, auxiliary materials or fittings in metal envelope systems is as important as that of metal envelope panels. Their performance shall be equivalent to or exceed the requirements in relevant standards and specifications, so as to reach a consistent system life and ensure that the system functionality and safety of buildings won’t be damaged as a result of function loss of auxiliary and fitting parts within the full life cycle of buildings.
